2026 Holiday Card
Each year I design a holiday card for my family, and this one for 2026 is built around “Tiny Rituals”: twelve small prompts for making space for joy and kindness throughout the year. I wanted the piece to feel like an invitation to slow down, reconnect with people we love, and bring a little intentional care into our routines.
The illustration is fully hand drawn, using a consistent line weight and a restrained palette to keep everything feeling cohesive. The front features our little house inside a snow globe, with portraits of each of us in the corners and ornaments framing the scene. At the base is a hummingbird, our unofficial family emblem, a nod to the birds that nest in our yard and to our old pup Mortimer, who used to watch them with such obvious delight.
Projects like this are how I spend many of my evenings, sharpening my design and illustration muscles while creating something meaningful for the people in my life.
