Latino Community Summit

A slightly meta experience for me. Two years earlier I had made the first design system for this event, and in October 2018 I was invited back to speak on behalf of my team, the Facebook Art Department, on a stage dressed in that same pattern. I showed the work of the Facebook Analog Research Lab and the Facebook Artists in Residence program through the lens of diversity, and made the case for echoing the voices from communities that are commonly overlooked or underserved.
